We're a little sweet shop in Stowmarket with a serious set of scales. Build your own bag, grab one of our house mixes, or put your own logo on the label.
100g for a treat, 1kg for a party. Or somewhere in between — we don't judge.
Tap the sweets you want. Want it all cola bottles? Tap it four times. It's your bag.
Sealed the day it's picked, labelled, and in the post the next working day.
Inspected and rated by Mid Suffolk District Council under the Food Standards Agency scheme. Check any rating
Pick your bag size, then tap the sweets you want. Every tap adds a scoop — tap the same one twice for a double helping. Fill the bag and it's yours.
Tap a sweet again for more of it, or use the minus to take a scoop back out. Every bag is labelled with exactly what's inside and how much of each. Got an allergy? Check the allergen list first.
Can’t decide? We’ve done the deciding for you. Pick a mix to see what’s in it.
Every one is weighed out and sealed the day you order it. Nothing sits bagged up on a shelf waiting.
We print it on the label under our logo. Leave it blank for a plain bag.
Your logo, your name or your artwork, printed straight onto the label. Client thank-yous, welcome packs, trade show giveaways, staff gifts, Christmas rounds — the sort of thing people actually want, and the label stays on the desk long after the sweets have gone.
Planning a wedding, birthday, hen do or christening? Those are over on Trade & events — same bags, but the questions we need to ask are different.
Fill in the form below with roughly what you need and when. No order is too small to ask about, and we’ll tell you honestly if we can’t hit your date.
Usually the same day, with a price and any questions. That’s when we’ll ask for your artwork — nothing to upload now.
You get a proof of the label to sign off before we print a single one.
Squab run self-storage and workspace units. They wanted something to hand new customers that wasn’t another branded pen — so we put their name and their orange on the label and filled the bags with a mix they chose themselves.
Your label, your colours, your choice of sweets. Photos used with Squab Storage’s kind permission.
Fill this in and we’ll come straight back to you by email.
Weddings, hen dos, birthdays, christenings, office parties, school fairs, market stalls — if you need sweets by the kilo rather than the pouch, this is the bit for you.
Individual favour pouches with names or a date on the label, or a full sweet table by the kilo. We'll help you work out how much you actually need — most people overbuy.
Bulk bags, themed colour mixes, or one big bucket to raid. Colour-matched mixes are our favourite job.
Wholesale rates on bulk weights for market stalls, farm shops, cafés and soft play. Ask for a trade list.
Individual sealed pouches with the name and the occasion on the label, in whatever colour suits the day. We’ve done birthdays, hen dos, baby showers and weddings — and if your occasion isn’t on our sticker sheet, we’ll print your own wording instead.
We are a sweet shop with no shop. Two people, one unit in Stowmarket, and a very serious set of scales.
This one started a long time before it started. Ricky spent years saying he’d have a sweet business one day — the sort of thing people say at the pub and never do anything about.
Then he went and did it.
There was no grand plan and nobody handing us a cheque. Just a good set of scales, more stock than sense, and being too stubborn to let it stay an idea.
A bit of belief, a bit of determination, and you can do just about anything you want. Ricky
Between us we do the buying, the weighing, the sealing, the labelling, the posting, and the answering of Facebook messages at eleven o’clock at night. Every bag that leaves here was made by one of us, by hand, the day you ordered it.
You order it, one of us weighs it out. That’s the whole operation, and we quite like it that way.
Every bag is made when you order it, sealed the same day and labelled with exactly what’s inside.
A registered food business with Mid Suffolk District Council, holding Level 2 Food Hygiene certification and a 5 — Very Good food hygiene rating.
Run out of Stowmarket, packed by the two of us and posted with Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Build your own bag, or let us do the choosing.
Because we sell online, you’re entitled to see full ingredients and allergen information before you order — not just when the bag arrives. Here it is, for every sweet we stock.
If you have any allergy or dietary requirement, contact us before placing an order and we’ll check the current batch for you.
Ingredients can change if a manufacturer updates their recipe. This guide is correct as of —.
Allergens are shown in bold in each ingredients list.
Every sweet is weighed and packed in the same kitchen, using the same scoops and scales. We cannot guarantee any sweet is completely free from traces of milk, soya, wheat or nuts, even where they are not an ingredient.
Most of our sweets are set with pork or beef gelatine, so they are not suitable for vegetarians. The line under each ingredients list tells you which, so you can check at a glance.
A few sweets contain colours that carry a legal warning: they may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Those sweets are marked, and the warning is shown on the sweet itself.
The things people ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just ask — we answer everything, usually within a few hours.
Pick your bag size first — 100g, 250g, 500g or 1kg — then tap the sweets you want. Each tap adds a scoop, and tapping the same sweet twice gives you double. The bar at the bottom fills up as you go, and when it’s full you’re done. We weigh it out by hand, seal it, and label it with exactly what’s inside.
On a 100g bag, yes — knock yourself out. On anything bigger the builder asks for at least two different sweets. Partly for balance, partly so we don’t have to stage an intervention.
£2 for 100g, £4 for 250g, £7 for 500g and £13 for 1kg. Our house mixes are £7 for 500g and £13 for 1kg. The price is the price — no sweet costs more than another, so pick what you actually want rather than what looks cheap.
Yes. On both Create your Own and the house mixes there’s an optional label — pick a colour, type your words, and it goes on that bag. Birthdays, thank-yous, apologies, whatever the occasion calls for. One message per bag, so if you’re ordering several they can all say something different.
We’re not your mum. Hen dos, stag dos, 30ths, 40ths and the sort of birthday card you’d only give your closest friend — we’ve printed worse, and we’ll print it again.
The only things we won’t do are hateful, threatening, or aimed at somebody who hasn’t asked for it. Rude about your mate: fine. Rude at a stranger: not happening. If we ever say no, you get every penny back.
If it hasn’t gone in the post yet, almost certainly. Message us with your order number as soon as you can and we’ll sort it. Once it’s posted, have a look at Delivery & returns.
Order before 2pm on a working day and it’s packed and posted the same day. After that, it goes the next working day. We send everything Royal Mail Tracked 48, which usually takes 2–4 working days from dispatch, and your tracking number is emailed to you as soon as it’s on its way. We post Monday to Friday, not bank holidays.
£3.65 anywhere in mainland UK, and free once you spend over £25. That threshold is why the 1kg bags are suspiciously popular.
Not at the moment — mainland UK only. If you’re somewhere else and really want a bag, drop us a message and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Sweets and hot delivery vans don’t get on. If it’s genuinely baking we’ll either hold the meltier lines back or message you to swap them, rather than post you a bag that arrives as one solid lump. You’ll hear from us before we do anything to your order.
Please read the Ingredients/Allergens page before you order — every sweet we stock is listed there with its full ingredients, and allergens are shown in bold.
One thing we have to be straight about: everything is weighed out in the same room, using the same scoops and scales. That means we cannot guarantee any sweet is free from traces of another. If your allergy is severe, message us before you order and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can safely send you anything.
A few. Most of our range contains gelatine, which is an animal product, so it isn’t vegetarian or vegan. The ones our suppliers state are vegan are marked with a symbol on the Ingredients/Allergens page, and the gelatine source is listed for every sweet that has it. We only mark something vegan if the supplier says so in writing.
We’re not making that claim. Most of our range contains gelatine that isn’t halal-certified, and we’d rather tell you that plainly than leave you guessing. The gelatine source for every sweet is on the Ingredients/Allergens page so you can decide for yourself.
Keep them somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun, and reseal the bag after opening — ours are resealable for exactly that reason. Realistically, this is not a question most of our customers have needed answering.
Yes. Latham’s Candy Co Ltd is a food business registered with Mid Suffolk District Council, we hold Level 2 Food Hygiene certification, and our food hygiene rating is 5 — Very Good. You can check that rating yourself at ratings.food.gov.uk.
Yes — that’s a big part of what we do. Your logo, name or artwork goes on the label, and you choose what’s inside. Client gifts, event giveaways, trade show handouts, Christmas thank-yous. Have a look at Branded bags and tell us roughly what you need.
We do. Sweet tables, favour bags, or just a lot of sweets in bulk for someone else to arrange. Tell us the date, rough guest numbers and any allergies in the room, and we’ll come back with a sensible quote. Trade & events has the detail.
The two of us — Ricky and Jess — out of a unit in Stowmarket. We do the buying, the weighing, the sealing, the labelling and the posting between us. If you message the shop, one of us reads it. If your bag looks hand-packed, it’s because it was.
Yes we do!
Ask us anything — especially about allergies. We’d far rather answer a question than have you guess.
Get in touchThis is exactly what the customer saw when they ordered.
Plain English, no small print. If anything here isn’t clear, just ask.
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are packed and posted the same day. After that, the next working day. Royal Mail Tracked 48 usually takes 2–4 working days from dispatch. Your tracking number is emailed to you as soon as it’s on its way.
We post Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. In hot weather we may hold chocolate lines back or message you to swap them, rather than post you a melted bag.
Damaged in the post, wrong item, or something missing? Message us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo if it’s damaged. We’ll replace it or refund it — your choice. You won’t be asked to post anything back for a damaged bag.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you’ve changed your mind, and a further 14 days to send it back. Message us first so we know it’s coming.
We’ll refund what you paid for the goods, plus our standard delivery charge, within 14 days of getting them back or of you showing proof of postage. Return postage is at your cost unless the order was faulty or wrong.
By law, the 14-day cancellation right doesn’t cover:
None of that affects your rights if something arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if what you receive is faulty or not as described you can ask for a full refund within 30 days. After that we’ll repair, replace or refund. Just get in touch.
Full ingredients and allergen information for every sweet is on our Ingredients/Allergens page, available before you order. Everything is weighed in the same kitchen, so we can’t guarantee any sweet is free from traces. If you have an allergy, please check with us before ordering.
These are the terms you’re agreeing to when you order from us.

When you place an order you’re making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can’t fulfil an order we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
You must be 18 or over to place an order.
All prices are in pounds sterling and are shown on the site. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and no VAT invoice can be issued. Delivery is added at checkout.
If we spot a genuine pricing error we’ll contact you before dispatching, and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Every bag is weighed by hand to order. We aim to hit the stated weight exactly and always err on the generous side, but individual sweets vary in size, so there may be a small tolerance either way.
Sweets go in and out of stock. If we can’t get something you’ve picked we’ll message you before packing to agree a swap or refund that part of your order. We won’t substitute anything without asking you first.
If you add a personalised label, you’re responsible for the text you give us and for having the right to use it. We’ll print what you type, so please check your spelling.
We’ll print pretty much anything, rude words included. What we won’t print is anything hateful, threatening, or aimed at a particular person who hasn’t asked for it — and we won’t print anything that infringes somebody else’s trade mark or copyright. If we refuse an order we’ll contact you and refund you in full.
Personalised bags are made to your specification, so the 14-day cancellation right doesn’t apply to them. See Delivery & returns.
Card payments are taken by Stripe, on a page hosted by Stripe. We never see, handle or store your card details.
We’re a food business registered with Mid Suffolk District Council and hold Level 2 Food Hygiene certification. Ingredients and allergens for every sweet are published on our Ingredients/Allergens page. Ingredients can change if a manufacturer alters their recipe; we update the page as soon as we’re told.
We’ll always do what we say we will. If we fail to meet these terms we’re responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure, but not for anything unforeseeable.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products, or for anything else it would be unlawful to exclude. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
If something beyond our reasonable control delays your order — a postal strike, extreme weather, supplier failure — we’ll let you know and get it to you as soon as we can. If the delay is substantial you can cancel and we’ll refund you.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts of England & Wales.
